Essex’s Ben Coleman continued his giantkilling run in the $10,000 Salt Lake City Open in the USA last night to win his first PSA Tour title since February.
The 24-year-old from Chelmsford followed up his surprise 3/1 win over top seed Henrik Mustonen (Finland) in the semi-finals by upsetting second favourite Martin Knight 3/2 in a dramatic final.
The third-seeded Coleman, who is currently ranked 63rd in the world, defeated the New Zealander 11-3, 8-11, 12-10, 2-11, 13-11 in 88 minutes.
