Sorry, folks…we’ve had to pull the plug on our planned end-of-season Barn Dance and Hog Roast scheduled for this Saturday.
Without putting too fine a point on it, we (the Essex Junior Committee) thought it was a good idea, but sadly not many parents or players agreed.
We gave it a good go promoting the event but ticket sales were limited and without lassoing people, we thought we’d cut our losses and run.
Huge thanks goes to Debbie Stinson who has worked her cotton socks off booking the band, the hog roast, the venue, sorting tickets and sourcing raffle prizes. She is one of Essex Junior Squash’s finest volunteers. Sorry it didn’t happen Debbie. You have been immense.
For those of you who did buy tickets, all payments will, of course, be refunded.
