WOW…another amazing day of Off The Wall Squash Schools Squash action at the Colchester Garrison with a record 23 teams from Years 5 & 6 competing in round two of The Roman Cup.
So far, 98 players have taken part in a total of 440 matches as pupils from Ardleigh St. Mary’s,Bradfield, Brooklands, St. Georges, Great Bromley, Highfields (a new school for the Roman Cup), Langham and Lawford schools battle it out on court.
The standard of squash is improving year by year and the fight for a place on each of the school teams becomes more competitive every time.
Every point counts for calculating which teams make the final and which are in the play-offs and in several cases a single point has made the difference.
The slates will be wiped clean for the finals on December 7th so there is everything to play for.
Squash is thriving in Colchester. Onwards and upwards.
