Lucy caps amazing year of squash with Mersea Island Achievement Award

Essex Junior Squash would like to join everyone at the OTWS Academy in Colchester by saying a huge congratulations to one of our rising young squash stars,  Lucy Blackmore.
Lucy has been playing squash for a number of years now and this week won the Mersea School Squash achievement award 2019-20 trophy. It’s easy to see from the list of achievements for the year why Lucy has been awarded it.
Well done Lucy, we’re all incredibly proud of you and the effort you always put into your squash- a thoroughly deserved accolade.

GU11 Runner Up at Essex County Closed

GU11 3rd Place at East Regional Championship

Selected as Girl 1 on the winning Team A to represent Mersea School in the Lexden Cup

Selected by Essex Junior Squash to be number 2 seed in Essex at the Inter County Championships

Off the Wall squash – player of the month award October 2019

Off the Wall Squash – Junior progress award level 4 Dec 2019

GP3 Winner year 6 and under girls

GP4 Runner Up year 6 & 8 and under girls

Selected as Girl 1 on the winning year 6 Mersea School team for the Essex School Games 2020

Selected by Essex Junior Squash to be seed 2 in the girls under 11 inter county team championships

GU11 COUNTY CHAMPION 2020 at Essex County Open championships

Selected by Essex County Squash as seed 1 on Essex A team U13 mixed team – bronze medal – winning all her matches
