Great news for everyone who enjoyed last year’s Harrow Eastern Cup…the event is back on again in July this year.
Players from Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and a combined Herts/Beds squad named Chiltern will compete in teams comprised of three boys and two girls in all age groups from U11 through to U17. The under-19’s will have a line-up of two boys and one girl. There will be a winner in each age category as well as an overall winner, determined by the county with the most points across all age groups.
The Essex selectors are working on the line-ups right now and the teams will be announced shortly. We are allowed two teams in each category so the selection process will be a challenge. In the meantime, put the dates in your diaries – Saturday July 5th and Sunday July 6th.
The Harrow Cup is one of the most enjoyable events in the calendar. Essex finished overall winners last year (team picture above) and hopes are high that we can do the same again.
