Final Essex Junior Grand Prix promises to be a thriller

by | Apr 29, 2015

The fifth and final Essex Junior Squash Grand Prix event takes place at the Garrison in Colchester this Sunday between 09:30 and 15:00.

It is the culmination of a ground-breaking idea launched to encourage and inspire young players who are relatively new to squash competition. Points from the five stages, held at clubs around the county, will be combined and counted towards an overall tally which will unearth six champions in three age groups.

With a week to go, most of the titles are still up for grabs guaranteeing an exciting run for the line.

This final GP will also feature a short break when members of the EJS Committee will review the event, talk about the future, ask for feedback and explain what you can expect from your child’s involvement with Essex Junior Squash.

A full report on the final showdown will feature on our website on Monday. There’ll will be results, final tables, photographs and reaction to an event that has been a joy for the Essex Junior Squash volunteers who have organised and attended.

Well done, kids. You have been magnificent.
