Everyone is still buzzing after last weekend’s Karakal sponsored Essex Junior Closed at Lexden Squash and Racquets Club in Colchester.
After the long Covid shutdown, our junior players were raring to get back into action and the matches and competition was a sight to behold. Our volunteers, led by the Essex Junior Squash committee, were their usual brilliant selves and we are beholding to our sponsors Karakal who helped support the day. It was also great to see legendary Essex player Clare Cogan who presented some of the trophies.
A massive thanks to the good people at Lexden who stepped in at the last moment to host the event after we lost the use of the Colchester Garrison courts due to army personnel returning from Afganistan.
