Essex Junior Grand Prix winners train with the stars

by | Sep 3, 2018

The winners of the 2017/2018 Miles Smith sponsored Essex Junior Squash Grand Prix were rewarded on Saturday with a two-hour training session with two of the country’s top squash stars.

The victorious Essex juniors, who had competed over seven months at seven different venues to be crowned Grand Prix Champions, got to spend time on court with Paul Allen, World Junior Champion and Head Coach at Lexden Squash Club plus World Number 16 and England Number 1, Daryl Selby.

Thanks to sponsorship from the Miles Smith Insurance Group, Essex Junior Squash has been able to purchase perpetual trophies for this series which will hopefully build a legacy for players in the Essex community.

After a brilliant morning’s squash, the trophies were presented by Matt Cosby, a Director of Miles Smith, who has been a staunch supporter of junior squash for which we are all indebted.
