Well, folks! It has been a wonderful and rewarding journey for all of us, but the time has come to say farewell to life on the Essex Junior Squash committee.
With a combined total of 80 years’ service to Essex Junior Squash, secretary, Karen Selby, coaches Paul and Lauren Selby and media duo Lucie Selby and Lee Horton figure we have done our bit and it’s time to hand over the reins to a new team.
It was always our mission to leave Essex Junior Squash in a better place than we found it. We believe we have done that and hope that you think so too.
So, in passing, we’d all like to say a massive thank you to the legions of young players who have performed so proudly for the county, all the parents and family members who have supported them so brilliantly and all the coaches and volunteers who gave up their time so selflessly.
We had a blast. We hope you did too. x
