Essex’s Peter Barker will lead the English challenge for the NetSuite Open title in San Francisco next month.
The left-hander is the only English seed for the PSA International 70 tournament from September 26 to 30.
The third seed is paired to meet American wildcard Julian Illingworth in the first round, which also features two other English players in Londoner Adrian Grant and Yorkshire-based Chris Simpson in the 16-man draw.
Grant has the toughest opener, with top seed Gregory Gaultier his first-round opponent, while Simpson takes on Australian Cameron Pilley, the no.8 seed.
