Essex Junior Squash says farewell and thanks to three terrific young ladies

by | Mar 20, 2020

It was with a mixture of sadness and pride that Essex Junior Squash waved a heartfelt farewell to three young ladies whose time with the junior programme has come to an end.

Amy Aspinall, Piper-Rose Tatum and Elli Barrott have all reached the ripe old age of 18 so last weekend’s final county training session of the season was their last engagement with the county programme.
The girls have spent half their lifetime playing squash and have all worn the county colours with distinction for many years.

Their commitment to Essex Junior Squash is only matched by that of their parents who have given up so much of their time to support their daughters.

So to all the girls and their families, thanks a million for supporting us for all these years. It’s been our pleasure to be part of your sporting life and we wish you nothing but good luck as you enter the next phase of your lives. Hopefully, you will all be playing squash for many years to come.

PS: Sorry to embarrass you with these old photographs, but we think they are great.
