ESSEX coach Lauren Selby has been shortlisted for two prestigious squash awards. The Off The Wall Squash Director of Coaching, who is also a major force within the Essex County Junior ncoaching team, was nominated in two categories when the The Polar Squash Workforce Awards panel met in Manchester last week.
Over 300 applications were received for the top awards and after much deliberation Lauren’s name was selected for Participation Driver of the Year and Elite Coach of the Year.
The nominations follow a massive year for Lauren who somehow divides her incredibly busy schedule between private coaching, schools outreach programmes, Essex County team manager and senior coach, Regional organisation and coaching as well has her OTWS commitments.
The seven category winners will be presented at a special awards ceremony on Thursday 24th March at the 2016 British Open in Hull.
