THE draw has been made for this weekend’s Essex Junior Closed and there looks to be some cracking match-ups in every age group. The entry numbers are extremely healthy, an encouraging 15.2 per cent UP on last year’s event. Great testimony to all the hard work players, coaches and organisers have put in over the past 12 months.
Karen Selby, our much treasured and over-burdened volunteer secretary, has been burning the midnight oil putting the draw into action. Please check your match times and make sure your are courtside a few minutes before your scheduled time. It will help the smooth and timely running of the event.
