ENGLAND SQUASH PARTNER WITH SQUASHLEVELS.COM

by | Feb 1, 2015

England Squash & Racketball has announced a new partnership with SquashLevels, an online resource for clubs, associations and individual players.

SquashLevels is an extensive website that collects squash match results and assigns a level of ability for every squash player, from complete beginner right up to the very top players in the world.

The system receives match results from league systems around the country and combines them into unique player histories, with charts showing progress over time, based on real match results. Players can track their progress and add their own results.

The partnership with ESR will give SquashLevels access to a greater range of results, from club box leagues to sanctioned events and elite tournaments. Clubs, league and tournament organisers, county associations and coaches will all be able to understand relative standards of players across the country.

The agreement will also enable ESR to understand more about the needs and habits of players of all abilities, assisting in the development of relevant and effective programmes and initiatives for participation and talent development.

Keir Worth, CEO of ESR said: “ESR’s endorsement and partnership of SquashLevels represents a great opportunity for players of all abilities to be able to identify people of a similar standard to play against, wherever they are in the country. Better engagement between players of all levels can only help us in our goal to increase participation and achieve our vision to become the no.1 racket sport in England.”

Richard Bickers, owner and developer of SquashLevels, commented: “I look forward to working closely with ESR and hope that, together, we can move closer towards our goal of including all competitive matches in the UK on the SquashLevels system to the benefit of all squash communities in the country. Knowing that every result, even every point, will make a difference to your level adds a great deal of interest and energy to every game. I’m thrilled that we can make this available to all players of all standards across the country.”
