England today added the under-17 and under-15 European team titles to the under-19 crown they won last month when they beat France 2-0 in both finals in Prague.
Patrick Rooney (pictured) and James Peach clinched the U17s’ success, respectively beating Enzo Corigliano 3/0 and Benjamin Aubert 3/1, thus rendering Amelia Henley’s match against Laura Gamblin unnecessary.
It was a similar story in the U15 final, where Lucy Turmel was not required to play Fanny Segers, as Curtis Malik and Elliot Ridge had already sealed victory with 3/2 wins over Victor Crouin and Hugo Mandil respectively.
